My brother is starting up his own Skate shop in Artesia NM.  I am in the process of building him a website and helping him remodel and get everything organized.  He has plenty of merchandise and gear to get started and hopefully we can get some boards sold and make some kids happy there is a skate shop now in town.

I have been bringing up the idea with my brother about talking to the city to get our current skate park redesigned and expanded as the current skate park is quite dangerous because of the way everything is so compact.  If we can get a few kids to start a petition and ask people around the city to sign it. We can be on our way to a safer and better skate park.

I enjoy the hook-up with all the merchandise he has, and I am able to mess around with something I like.  Just trying to do something positive.

OK, so maybe I’m being a little dramatic, its just that this place is so beautiful.  The skate park is small, but everything is nice and smooth…  It’s a good park to just chill and skate with a few friends, not to mention take in the view.  Just across the street is a small little lake so you can bring your pets and they’ll have a place for water and fun.  The people are really friendly and it’s not your typical suburban “sk8er” attitude, just skate.  I will be skating here much more often as I already made friends at this park.  I still would like to check out more of the parks in Denver, and I’ll post some more pictures of them and videos too.  This is the park where I will develop and improve my skating skills for the larger and better parks.  I just love the environment, weather, and people here.  Here are some better pics of the day:

On another note, I know I haven’t been updating the blog much (Not that anyone reads it) and I would really like to try and update the blog ATLEAST every 2 weeks, hopefully more though, If you guys have any ideas just drop me a line in the comments section, k thx. Have fun!
